A trip in February 2016 took us to the northern tip of Indonesia. Ache is mostly known for earthquakes, tsunamis, civil war and sharia law. The province is slowly recovering and has incredible things to discover.

Liwest Wakesurf Invitational 2017

Am Wochenende ging bereits zum zweiten Mal das Liwest  Wakesurf Invitational im Zuge der Linz AG Bubbledays über die Bühne und viele, viele fanden bei Kaiserwetter den weg in den linzer Handelshafen. Hier ein kleiner Nachbericht:

Last weekend the LIWEST Wakesurf Invitational were held at the Linz AG Bubbledays at Linz Harbor and loads of people found their way there at stunning sunny weather.

Mit dem LIWEST WAKESURF INVITATIONAL 2017 ist bei den Linz Ag BUBBLEDAYS auch heuer wieder für jede Menge Action gesorgt:

Am Samstag, dem 10. Juni, treten Surfer aus der ganzen Welt im Linzer Hafenbecken gegen einander an, während ihr am Urban Beach in der ersten Reihe fußfrei sitzt.

With the LIWEST WAKESURF INVITATIONAL 2017 the Linz Ag BUBBLEDAYS again bring you loads of action this year:

On Saturday, 10th of June, some selected surfers from all over the world will compete against each other in the harbor of Linz while you can enjoy the best view from the Urban Beach. 

Of course as usual there will be no entry fee at the Linz AG BUBBLEDAYS!

Bubbledays 2016 & Liwest Wakesurf Demo

Wir haben keine Kosten und Mühen gescheut, um die LIWEST WAKESURF DEMO auf die Beine zu stellen, die wir euch nun im Rahmen der Linz Ag BUBBLE DAYS präsentieren wollen. Am Freitag, dem 20. Mai 2016, werden hinter dem neuen Motorboot Malibu M235 internationale Top-Stars, heimische Talente und Local Heroes euch die trendige Wassersportart näher bringen und die Begeisterung der Zuschauer für das Wake-Surfen entfachen. Die Veranstaltung findet, wie bei den Linz Ag BUBBLE DAYS üblich, bei freiem Eintritt statt.

After hours of work we are proud to present to you the LIWEST WAKESURF DEMO which will be going on during the Linz Ag BUBBLEDAYS. On friday, 20th May 2016 we will tow selected wakesurfers behind the all new Towboat Malibu M235. International riders as well as local heroes will present you wakesurfing on a new level. SRSF_West Java

Java war nicht unsere erste Wahl für diesen Urlaub... Eigentlich hatten wir ganz andere Pläne, die uns auf die andere Seite der Halbkugel führen sollten. Erst als wir im Reisebüro zur Erst-Info saßen und alle möglichen Optionen durchspielten, tauchte plötzlich die Alternative Java, auf. Nicht zuletzt auf Grund der kompetenten Beratung von Sonja, STA-Travel Linz. Warum denn auch nicht, dachten wir uns! Nach einigen Surftrips nach Bali war es nun auch wirklich an der Zeit, eine andere Seite von Indonesien kennen zu lernen. 

Java was not our first choice for our holidays...In fact we had a whole list of plans, which would take us on the other side of the world. Once in the travel office for our initial info, we went through a whole lot of options and came to the conclusion of Java. Not to forget the competence of Sonja from the STA-Travel Linz. Why not? After numerous surftrips to Bali it was time to get to know new corners of Indonesia.

Fuerteventura is the stadtrandsurfer’s favorite surfdestination. In the last seven years we count not less than nine visits to the island. But why?

SRSF_Southern England

Im Juni kann man in England kaum gute Wellen erwarten- zwar treiben Westwinde manchmal die schweren Atlantik-Dünungen auf die Westküste der Insel, aber es ist bei brauchbarem Swell fast immer mit starkem Wind zu rechnen. 
Usually one cannot await a decent surf in England in June – westerly winds will bring the heavy Atlantic swell to the west coast, but this swell is usually then also accompanied by heavy winds.

Rivermates Day 2014
